About the Block

Neighbors Serving Neighbors

We believe we’re called by God to be good neighbors. The essence of being a neighbor is being in community with each other. It’s working, playing, and doing life together. Being a good neighbor is more than going into a neighborhood and doing for others, it’s being in community with others. We are “Neighbors serving neighbors through genuine connections.” Our mission is built on a foundation of love and a desire to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.

Current Impact

We are currently providing food to 460 kids per week.

We served an estimated 105,365 meals for the year of 2023.

It takes 25-30 volunteers per week to make our Weekend Food Program happen.

For the library pantry, we are stocking approximately 900 food, hygiene, and household items every week.

We are currently providing after school programming to 18 elementary-age students through Kids @ The Block.
