Neighbors Serving Neighbors
Join us as we build community and walk alongside our neighbors on their journey to self-sufficiency.
Community
The essence of being a neighbor is being in community with each other. It means working, playing, and doing life together.
Self-sufficiency
We strive to meet our neighbor’s basic needs while moving them to self sufficiency through education and connections with our partner organizations. The Block meets the following immediate needs: food insecurity, clothing, hygiene, and household needs.
Ways You Can Help
Your support changes lives in our community by providing weekly food boxes to food insecure families, supporting a homeless food pantry at the local library, supplying warming bags for those seeking shelter during inclement weather and providing supplies for kids in our after school program.
You can help our unhoused neighbors by packing and distributing blessing bags.
We have volunteer opportunities available once per week and once per month for our food program. Other opportunities include social media communications, homeless outreach and youth outreach.
